Come a little bit closer
Hear what I have to say
Just like children sleepin’
We could dream this night away.
But there’s a full moon risin’
Let’s go dancin’ in the light
We know where the music’s playin’
Let’s go out and feel the night.
Because I’m still in love with you
I want to see you dance again
Because I’m still in love with you
On this harvest moon.

I love shooting on New Year’s Eve. While its always tough to be working when everyone else on the planet is partying, these weddings bring with them a unique energy. With everyone in attendance committed to ringing in the new year with the bride and groom, the party starts and never seems to stop. I’m super exited to share this look back at Rebecca and Matt’s wedding at the Renaissance Haverhill on New Year’s Eve!

What to write about a year that has given me so much, pushed me further and harder than I’ve ever been pushed, and offered up some of the most rewarding experiences as a photographer and a person? Juggling life with an infant while shooting a full slate of weddings has been daunting at times, but the end result has been so worth it. I have a beautiful, healthy one year old who fills every moment of my life with joy, and a job that enriches me creatively while connecting me with some of the best people around.
To the couples we’ve met, collaborated and created with – thank you. These moments exist because of the trust you’ve instilled in us. You’re the reason I love this job and why I push myself everyday to grow beyond what I know.

Willowdale in Topsfield, with its charming manor house, rolling fields and courtyard has got to be one of my favorite venues in Massachusetts. I’ll jump at any opportunity to shoot a Willowdale Estate wedding. I’m so excited to finally share a complete look back at Amanda and Brian’s wedding. These two exchanged vows on a picture perfect October afternoon at sunset. A shoot out to Sarah Dickenson for shooting alongside me.

Weddings days don’t get much better than this. Katie + Travis exchanged vows on a beautiful September afternoon in Truro, MA. Their Cape Cod private estate wedding was far from the typical hustle and bustle of Cape Cod – on a quiet peninsula, surrounded by panoramic views of the water. I’m excited to share this detailed look back at their incredible day, beautifully executed by the team at Elegant Engagements.

Whenever a couple asks for wedding advice, I offer them one thought. Plan the wedding you want not the wedding this industry has told you you’re supposed to want. In the course of planning, you’ll be bombarded with lists that tell you the top 10 decor pieces you must have, the 25 must have photos, what your ceremony is meant to look like, how to structure your reception – it goes on and on. But at the end of the day, plan the wedding you want. There is no right or wrong, so long as at the end of the day, you’re married.
Enter Steph and Chris. When I first sat down to talk about their plans, they were already there. An intimate private ceremony at the Brick House at Shelburne Farms. A bigger reception the following evening at the Shelburne Museum surrounded by as many friends and family as they could pack into the space. No sit-down meal, instead a rolling cocktail reception leading into a killer dance party. It delivered in spades and it stands as one of the sweetest weddings we’ve had the chance to document in over six years of shooting.
So enjoy this recap including some beautiful views from the farm, old covered bridges, sunsets, dancing, and a truly wonderful couple. So excited to share this recap.

Up North, beyond Lake Winnipesaukee, sits a little slice of barn wedding heaven so perfect it feels like I invented it all in my head. Sweeping panoramic views, a beautiful ceremony spot, rolling hills – literally a photographer’s dream venue. But best of all, it had Alison and Dave who have been incredible to work with every step of the way. This wedding floored me and I’m excited to finally share a complete look back at Alison + Dave’s day.

Earlier this summer I met up with Josh and Michelle for their Coppal House Farm engagement session. Such an unbelievable setting for a shoot and I’m so jazzed about how these came out. The day started clear, but after an hour or so a storm barreled in giving us some dramatic clouds and crazy light to work with. Can’t wait to do this again next summer!
